RSU Nukleārās medicīnas klīnika is the only company in Latvia offering a variety of PET/CT examinations for detecting cancer. Combined Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) imaging have become essential diagnostic tools used by physicians to reveal the presence and severity of cancers. PET/CT imaging helps physicians detect cancer, evaluate the extent of the disease, select the most appropriate treatments, determine if the therapy is working and detect any recurrent tumours. Precise and early cancer detection is the key to successful treatment.

The Headline Clinic mostly specialises in ear, nose and throat diseases (Otorhinolaryngology) and in the diagnostics and treatment of sleeprelated breathing disorders. The clinic is the Otorhinolaryngology educational unit for the University of Latvia Faculty of Medicine. The treatment of patients is based on the scientific and educational experience of the staff and on a very scientific background. Our clinic has close professional and scientific cooperation with the ENT clinic of Park-Klinik Weissensee Hospital in Berlin.
Our Otorhinolaryngology services include out-patient consultations including all necessary additional examination such as microscopy, endoscopy, clinical audiometry, tympanometry and rhino-manometry. If necessary, imaging for our patients is directly organized by our staff on the same day, as are laboratory tests. For our patients’ related needs, consultations with a Gastroenterologist (including upper endoscopy), Neurologist, Physiotherapist and Psychotherapist are available in our clinic. Surgical treatment of all kinds of routine Otorhinolaryngology under general anaesthesia is available. The staff is experienced in performing endoscopic sino-nasal procedures, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, all kinds of ear surgery including tympanoplasty and stapedectomy and all kinds of routine otorhinolaryngoly (except tumour surgery). The sleep medicine service includes a patient interview with routine ENT examination (including functional tests). After that and depending on the patient’s wishes and resulting treatment options, further examination is recommended: DISE (drug-induced sleep endoscopy) or PG/PSG (poligraphy/polisomnography). Depending on diagnostic outcomes, CPAP treatment or surgical treatment might be recommended.
We are looking for fellow otorhinolaryngologist colleagues who might select patients for surgical and/ or other treatments and utilise our clinic for follow-up, post-surgical treatment.
